Black Toyota aims to support a variety of events throughout the year and as the drought makes it difficult for rural communities, sponsorship becomes even more important for these areas.
Black Toyota sponsors many community events each year including local school newsletters, P&C fundraising events such as Trivia Nights, Art Shows and Year Planners. Other organisations such as local hospitals, rotary clubs, local pony clubs, sports clubs, stock shows and agricultural shows all benefit from Black Toyota's sponsorship philosophy - giving back to those communities that have supported our business over the years.
It is difficult to support every request for sponsorship; however we aim to support as many requests as possible in some form. Major sponsorships are also important and feature as an integral component in our marketing plan. Here are a couple of events we've supported over the years.
Black Toyota Warwick Gold Cup - October 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007
This prestigious event is held in conjunction with the Warwick Rodeo on the last weekend in October each year. Black Toyota has been the naming rights sponsor for the past three years and again supports this event in 2007. Campdrafting is an event that tests the skills of both horse and rider as they work in unison to control a beast. Campdrafting holds special ties for Black Toyota, and sponsorship gives us the opportunity to celebrate this remarkable country horse sport.

Each year in July, the Clarence River Jockey Club of Grafton NSW holds their annual racing carnival. This renown racing carnival attracts horses, trainers and jockeys from all over Australia. The feature sprint of the carnival is the iconic Black Toyota Ramornie Handicap and the feature distance race is the Grafton Cup. Black Toyota is proud to be the naming rights sponsor of the Black Toyota Ramornie Handicap, which is known as the icon of country racing in northern NSW. We are very proud of our commitment to the local communities in which we operate and sponsorship is a great way to support these areas.

Polocrosse, is one of only two sports, the other being Australian Rules Football, that Australia can truly claim as its own. Polocrosse started in 1938 and is recognized today as an international sporting event.

Dalby Cotton Week
The Australian CottonWeek Festival held in Dalby each March is the major annual festival for the town and is all about Cotton and the agriculture of the region. Black Toyota has sponsored this event over the years as it marks a celebration of the country lifestyle, produce and celebration of life.
Cotton Week holds special ties for our staff as well, with key organisational roles undertaken by one of our employees - in 2006 as Honorary Ambassador and this year (2007) as Chair for the Family Fun Day.

Roma Picnic Races
The time-honored tradition of horse racing has a rich and colourful history in Queensland and none more so than that of the Roma Picnic Races whose club was officially founded in February 1901.
Black Toyota has sponsored this event over the years as it offers an opportunity for Roma to display its heritage, culture and good old country hospitality to many visitors and locals who often get dressed to the nines as this country town transforms into what feels like the racing capital of the nation.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Royal Flying Doctor Service was the first comprehensive aerial medical organisation in the world and to this day remains unique for the range of primary health care and emergency services it provides and for the huge area of sparse population and climatic extremes over which it operates 24/7.
From the Golden West to as far as Birdsville, Black Toyota's sponsorship dollars go towards campdrafts, races and gymkhanas to help raise money for this iconic service, the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.

Black Toyota and Spiritus
Black Toyota's not just in the business of selling cars, occasionally we'll provide a worthy organisation a vehicle so they may continue their great work throughout the community for people in need - Spiritus is such an organisation.
The name Spiritus means spirit, strength and courage, which are the fundamental values of this organisation and drivers for the caring services they provide.
They provide community care from Cairns to Sydney, helping people maintain their independence and live a healthier life in your own home.
In addition, social support programs serve many different parts of the community throughout Brisbane and Southeast Queensland, working in collaboration with the communities in which we operate.
Black Toyota is proud to be lending a hand to this worthwhile organisation.

Black Toyota and Stock Up For Hope
To be able to touch the lives of many children in rural Australia who are experiencing difficulties is the force behind Black Toyota's provision of a vehicle for the Stock Up For Hope Program. Now in our second year of support for this worthwhile cause, Stock Up For Hope is providing support to children and communities in need throughout rural Queensland.
Support for this program can be provided in many ways by others within the community; you can offer free agistment for stock, donate livestock at point of sale, donate weaners or you can make a tax-deductible donation.
